🎨Meet The Artists

The ones behind the magic.

Ed Wainaina:

“Time has its Own Time.”

  1. What inspires you to do art? My love and inspiration for art comes from many things. My greatest inspiration was how I learnt how to express myself without words by my late mother. Emotions, Situations and Ideas make me create art.

  2. What does it mean to be a PAL? The collective stands for a great cause. Just from the name, (Positive Attitude to Life), I see so many opportunities being created that will change lives. Not only mine, but many others along the way.

  3. What change do you want to make? Being a Multidisciplinary artist, I’d like to support collectives in areas with no access to art. Especially digital art, because we are moving more into a digitized world. I’d also like to have possibly never seen before methods of exhibiting art through PAL. This will help artists financially and in other areas of their lives

Lynn Atieno:

“The higher you wish to build, the longer time you must spend in the dirt digging the foundation."

  1. What inspires you to do art? I am inspired by everyday things, places, people and experiences. I use my art to express how I see life through my own eyes and hopefully inspire others in the process

  2. What does it mean to be a PAL? I believe in PAL's mission and vision, and through working with them I aspire to give the world a different narrative of what it means to be African through art

  3. What change do you want to make? I want to see a global community of creatives coming together to share ideas and work towards developing an ecosystem where art is accessible and profitable to all creatives
